Physical and chemical properties: white crystal. Odorless, slightly bitter odor. Soluble in water, hot alcohol, pyridine, concentrated hydrochloric acid and hot sulfuric acid, insoluble in cold methanol, ether, acetone, benzene and chloroform. Specific gravity: 1.768(including two hydrous water molecules). Decompose at 320°C – 350°C.
Main application: This product is mainly used for the synthesis of new bleaching agents, resins, antioxidants, paints, pesticides, herbicides and metal cyanide corrosion inhibitors, etc.
